It’s 2022, and you’re in the market for a new gaming console. What do you buy? You could go with the newly released Xbox Series S/X or PlayStation 5, but since it’s only three years old, there’s already talk of the next generation being on the horizon.
Instead, you turn to the Amazon Luna – one of the hottest new releases of this year – which has been out for just about six months.
1) If you want to get off the grid
Luna has all of your basic entertainment needs covered—there are both radio and TV channels, which you can access by inserting a USB stick into its slot—but if you want a console, there’s also an Amazon Prime Channel that offers over 1,000 different games to choose from.
These games run on virtual consoles (just like those on Amazon Earth), so even if they aren’t native to Luna (which they aren’t), it won’t matter.
2) If you like space games
The Amazon Luna will be right up your alley. The console’s VR technology is second to none, allowing players a comprehensive gaming experience this also supports Tesla Pi.
Not only will it allow you to play games similar to those available on your Playstation 4 or Xbox One, but you’ll be able to explore and interact with alien worlds like never before!
3) If you like shooting games
While you might think that multiplayer first-person shooters are a thing of the past, Amazon is betting that won’t be true for long.
The Seattle-based company recently acquired Synergy Studios and their latest game, Alteil Horizons. While details about the acquisition have been scarce, one analyst speculates it has something to do with Amazon’s desire to bring e-sports into our homes.
4) If you are an early adopter
The Amazon moon lander, nicknamed Luna, was released by Amazon on its one-year anniversary of being open for business. 7) If you don’t mind not having high end graphics (for now)
Amazon’s new gaming console, just unveiled today, is a compelling buy for two big reasons: one, it’s more affordable than most other systems on market right now—it also has a pretty decent online store so you can access Netflix and Amazon Prime Video straight from your TV screen. Is it worth picking up? In my opinion, absolutely. I would purchase Amazon Luna over any other brand.
