The action of laser carbon peeling involves the impact of a laser beam and the photorejuvenation effect. The main difference from other types of peeling lies in the use of a nano-gel containing microscopic particles of carbon dioxide.

What is the purpose of nanogel?

Nanogel plays a crucial role in the process of carbon peeling, ensuring its effectiveness. Its functions include deep penetration into the layers of the skin and binding of cells. How is carbon peeling performed?

The carbon peeling procedure is conducted in two stages, beginning with a thorough analysis of the client’s skin condition. The esthetician carefully assesses the presence of inflammatory processes, identifies contraindications, and checks for potential allergies to carbon acid. Afterward, they proceed with the procedure, first cleansing the client’s skin with antiseptic preparations.

During the first stage of the procedure, a carbon nanogel is applied, consisting of a complex of mineral oils with finely dispersed carbon. This gel prepares the skin for laser exposure. After the nanogel has completely dried, the process moves to the second stage – laser treatment.

The laser acts on the deep layers of the skin, meticulously removing the tiniest particles of dirt and dead microorganisms. This is achieved through the micro-explosions of nanogel particles within the epidermal cells under the laser’s influence.

The process of photothermolysis, induced by laser treatment, leads to the heating of the skin even at deep levels.

At this stage, the production of elastin and collagen in the skin is also activated, promoting rejuvenation. As a result, the skin gains elasticity and a smooth tone.

Duration and Frequency of Carbon Peeling

The typical duration of a carbon peeling session ranges from 20 to 30 minutes. To achieve noticeable results, it is recommended to undergo a course of at least five sessions, with an interval of 5-7 days between each session.

Regarding the recovery period, the procedure leaves minor traces. There may be slight redness on the treated areas. Thus, it is advised for clients to schedule the peeling on Thursdays or Fridays, allowing any redness to diminish by the end of the week.

If the skin experiences peeling, the use of moisturizers is recommended. It’s also important to avoid direct exposure to ultraviolet rays for 2-3 weeks after the procedure to reduce the risk of pigment spots.

The application of makeup is allowed two days after the procedure. But, it is advisable to refrain from washing the face until the end of the day following carbon peeling.
