No similarity of title to foreign newspaper is allowed in India

If you think you can just get by copying the title of a foreign newspaper to publish your own, you’re wrong. The RNI keeps a sharp eye on newspapers that are sold all over the globe. However, if you want to bring in that foreign newspaper in India, you can get the RNI registration for it. But that would entail getting authorization from the owner of the said newspaper.

Only three title approval applications can be filed at a time

One applicant is only allowed to file three title approval applications at a time. Yes, you’d need to pay separate newspaper registration fees for it. Additionally, if you try to submit more than three applications, the rest will be rejected, and the RNI registration cost that you’ve deposited for those extra applications will be refunded to you.

Your title verification application will be verified on first come first serve basis

Your application for RNI title verification will be entertained on first come first serve basis. However, there are exceptions to this under the following circumstances:

If your title is rejected due to misspelling, RNI won’t be held responsible
