Cooking
You really want the directions to be clear as feasible when you depend on recipe cards. I found the Everyplate Menu directions to be straightforward. Unfortunately, the recipe cards are fairly little, so there are instances when the directions are plainly trimmed down to fit on the sheet. The Middle Eastern Beef Meatballs were a disaster, although I attribute it more too human error (hurrying) than to a faulty recipe.
Taste
Herbs and spices were used creatively in all of the meals I sampled, and the results were all delicious. For example, HelloFresh and Everyplate Menu both employ foods and practices that you may not normally use at home to create a fantastic dining experience. There was nothing dull or too rich about even the most basic dishes like Cheesy Penne Pasta.
Conclusions I’ve Drawn
Every plate Menu is a terrific deal for the price you can purchase meals (particularly with the 40% discount coupon ‘TEMPLATE’). There is little doubt that they are delivering a similar service to Dinnerly, particularly in terms of the quality of the dishes they provide.
EveryPlate is a great option for those who like other meal kits but don’t want to spend a lot of money.
My only gripe with Everyplate Menu is that the meals are a little basic and the portion sizes are a little on the tiny side. I have no hesitation in recommending them because of the excellent service they provide.
